Ambiance was nice, mariachi music added a nice touch to authenticity of place. Waitress was courteous and convivial. Horchata was delicious, not to sweet. Ordered the signature Carne asada Quinta plate and it was beyond reproach. Delicious nopal salad and rice tasted homemade. Carne asada was a little too well done but still good. Wrapped it up with a Flan and choco mil which also failed to disappoint. Recommended Mexican place for sure

Deliciousness, portions were big, I loved the music, I wish we would've ordered the margarita tray. Parking is no problem.
Every time I come to San Diego, I catch breakfast here. I've eaten three times all three different occasions in contrary to other Yelp reviewers are really enjoy this place. First of all, they must have Mexican ninjas working in the kitchen, because our food came out in about 7 and 1/2 minutes and it was hot. Multiple staff members, stop by our table to ensure constant satisfaction. Their Cafe de Olla is so freaking good, don't add anything to it, no milk no sugar. It's delicious. The machaca breakfast is phenomenal. I don't order it with the scrambled eggs, I like my eggs over medium, however the potatoes are really good and according to my wife the beans are delicious. My wife ordered the chorizo breakfast and said it was really good also.
The food is soooo good that the servers don't even ask if you like it or how was it, they know the quality is so good, not even a see you again, cause they know you'll be back!!!
Contrary to the previous recent reviews in which others have had such poor experience, I decided to give this establishment a try at 6pm due to its close proximity. I went in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Food, service and ambiance were great! I had ordered ceviche de camarón for an appetizer, carne en su jugo for main entree, and waters to consume. Waters came in glass cups with lemon and ice. Waiter had brought chips and two salsas. App and entrée were brought in a timely fashion. I initially thought I had ordered too much food but managed to put it all away (including the delicious chips). Around 7pm, the bar staff begin to show up and prep the other half of the restaurant for the night. I didn't stick around but I'm sure it's a good time.
